The Prestige

I wanted to watch the movie The Prestige when it was first telecasted in HBO but literally I missed. Then I tried to watch it many times but I messed them too finally yesterday night I saw it. I already knew some hint about this film that this about competition between two magicians who were first friends. I thought title resembled the prestige for what the both magicians were competing but when I watched the movie I was proven totally wrong.
The movie starts like saying a quote that

“Every magic has 3 acts or parts.
1. The Pledge
2. The Turn
3. The Prestige”

and the movie end with these quotes only. The movie was directed well since more number of flash backs would spoil the flow but it was handled perfectly with the suspense. If you miss some part of the movie then you cant follow it so watch it fully.

PUDUPETTAI - Survival of the Fittest

Hi this film pudupettai was one of the good film taken in tamil cinema. It’s a story of boy turning into a gangster. Inspite of the real greatness of the movie it dint do quite well.

It’s a special movie that included many technical aspects in film making especially from the camera side. Its much more special to me since it was directed by Selvaraghavan who gave us the ever lasting hits like Kathal Kondean and 7G Rainbow Colony and acted by his brother Danush. Me and my girl friend likes both these guys films but when they worked together it made us feel so better. Then as we expected the movie got released and we went to that movie alone even before expressing our love and in that theatre only I got confirmed that she’s in love with me.

This movie has many good scenes. I was so astonished to note that even small things are taken care for example the movie was taken in a mambalam railway station set, could you believe I found many banners and paper post sticked on some wall post etc. none would have taken so much care to give the reality. Many scenes in that film was well directed by Selvaraghavan. One of them was a training scene where the hero gets trained to cut a hand.

I was wondering abt d failure of this awesome film, when i asked some ppl they said they cant believe that since danush is so lean how could he hit all those villans and other gangsters... wat kind of ppl are they.... they expect outmost reality in a film but when presented, they say some irrelevant factors for not accepting it...

but i bet to all those who thinks this way... no one could have done that role better than danush.... i believe tats acting... everyone's characterization in d film was perfect and mind blowing... hats off to selva.....

but afterwards i found the real reason for this films failure.....

afterall we are living with those ppl who thinks a good film must have hero's opening song.. opening fight... love scene.. duet... sentiment... and repeat of all those in same order and at last in the climax clash hero win and the film ends...

Fan of A R Rahman

Hi im a great fan of the music legend in both Kollywood, Bollywood. I feel now itself many would have guessed him correctly.. yes he is none other than our uncomparable A R Rahman.

I love his music to a great extent. I cant spend a single day without hearing to his songs atleast i will hear a single track of his. He has been composing music for a quite long time. He first film was with a another legend in film making Mani Rathnam, Roja. From Roja till Azhagiya Tamil Magan i have all his Kollywood film songs. I have all those in my pc and i would hear those tracks everyday. He is marvelous in composing rock and jazz type of songs. Recently he has shifted to Hip Hop too but he rocks in that also.

I am big fan of him. I would be cursed if i dint tell about his contribution in a film with this background score. He was the first music director who makes me to watch a film only for his background score. His work with background score of a film definitely makes the film more enthusiastic and lovable to watch. Oh if i write about him i would write till this day ends so im gona end this post.

To me he is the "God of Music" coz i became a song addict after hearing his songs only it was a starter to me.

I Miss You

I MISS HER…

Really this is in my mind for the past 14^th months. If I think deep in to mind I get some different answers. I am really not at all missing my sweetheart she is with me in every action I do every thing I think every where I go. She is been missing only physically but mentally she with me every thing I do. I am damn so confident that she will try to call anytime so I am always with my mobile only. Really you cant find me without my mobile. She loved me so much and really she taught what really LOVE is. Then leave love aside she only taught me and gave a different kind of meaning to a four letter word that hasn’t meant a lot to me before she came in my life. You know that four letter word was none other than CARE. TAKE CARE is the word we all use often but really she taught me the real meaning of it. In my entire life time I cant get what I got from her love, care, kindness, advise, support, hugs, kisses, misses and many more.

I would rather say this to myself and go on with life “Something’s are better left to miss in order to remember it for life time”.

A Trip with my College Friends

Last time me and my college friends met is at VGP. We all went there to spend sometime with all our beloved friends. There we had a good time and enjoyed every moment of it. Even though many of our friends dint show up it was quite with few itself. We all started from at 10 and reached our destiny at 11 by bus. It was quite a good trip for us since we all were teasing and making fun of each other, may be who knows that could be also some of our final days with our college friend. Then we spend our time in those rides really I felt some of them only made me think oh this is a ride and for many rides I felt oh not another one. No rides were fearful to me. As we spent time like this our lunch time came we all had very unworthy lunch. Even though its cost more it sucks in taste. Then set back with some time a beach and playing there we end up our day with thoughts of missing each other, who knows how many days but we all miss each other. I would definitely remember each and everyone with whom I spent those enjoyable moments.

Live from M A Chidambaram Stadium

Hi… I went to watch the IPL Twenty20 match between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings Eleven held at Chennai, M A Chidambaram Cricket Stadium. It was an outstanding experience to match live in a stadium. I have already seen some test matches there but being there for an Twenty 20 match was awesome. We were dancing link cheer leaders for every boundary hit and every wicket that were taken by our Chennai Super Kings team. It was a very good and closest match, even at the last few overs no one knew who’s gona win the match. Atlast as we all wanted our Chennai Super Kings team won the match. Our local boy L Balaji took the IPL’s first ever hat trick by taking 3 successive wickets of the 20^th over. What a moment was that to watch it live from the stadium.

My advice to all those who thinks watching a match live from a stadium is waste of money but I bet you will really love and enjoy that atmosphere. You will be eager to watch matches again and again.
